Day Eight, January 19th – Christ Is My Strength

John 17:20-23.

God is looking for a people to dwell with. He is a God of union and communion, a God of connection who wants to live fully and wholly connected. His powerful union can only happen by the indwelling and residing of the Holy Spirit.

This was the prayer of Jesus in John 17 for His disciples and for all disciples to come/that we would be one with the Father as He is one with the Father. This is the dream that is on the heart of God for all His people/that there would be no separation between Him and His body/ and He will not rest until we step into this fullness.

Presence matters, God knows this because He designed us to live in His presence, walking with Him daily. Take a moment today to sit in His presence.
